Mother’s Day Flower Jar Workshop

This Mother’s Day, come and create a jar floral arrangement for your beloved mum/wife/mother-in-law under the guidance of our instructors. Or come as a pair with Mum to enjoy a weekend activity together and bring home some fresh beautiful blooms.

Mother's Day Basket Arrangement Workshop

In this workshop, we will learn how to create a fresh flower basket arrangement. We will learn about floral foam, how to use it and the basic principles for arrangement in foam.

Children aged 5 to 12 are welcome to participate. It is required for children who are unable to handle scissors on their own to share their set of materials with an adult (please book 1 seat for 1 pair). Children above 10 years old can have their own seat.

Elevate your floral design skills in this comprehensive two-day course, tailored for those with prior floristry experience. This course delves into sustainable techniques, emphasising foam-free mechanics to create elegant and environmentally conscious arrangements. Participants will master the use of chicken wire and floral frogs (Kenzan) to craft four unique arrangements, with an emphasis on freestyle design and creative expression.

COURSE OUTLINE:

Lesson 1:

• Theory: Mechanics of foam free arrangement

• Compote Arrangement (Using Chicken Wire/Floral Mesh)

Lesson 2:

• Aqua Pack Bouquet

• Wrapping bouquet

Lesson 3:

• Theory: Water Tubing

• Crescent Shape Arrangement (Water Tubing)

Lesson 4:

• Theory: Using Floral Frogs/Kenzan

• Kenzan Arrangement (Ikebana Style)

This course is for those who have completed the Basic Floral Course or have some hands-on experience in floristry. Materials and tools are provided. You can bring back the mechanics and flowers - Kenzan and chicken wire.

Flower Jamming & Practice Session

Please note that this session is not a workshop and is unguided

Duration: 1 hour

How it works:

1. Select a time slot

2. To reserve a slot $40 deposit is required

3. Redeem the $40 credits during your session

4. Pick and pay stem by stem flowers, vases, small quantities of paper, ribbon etc.

5. For any additional flowers/hardware more than $40, top up on the spot

6. You can choose to create your arrangements such as bouquets, vase, etc at the studio

7. Tools (Scissors, thorn stripper) provided but bring your own vases if you like!

8. Bring home your creations

Flowers available at the floral bar will be dependent on seasonal availability and will be a mix of premium flowers, standard flowers, seasonal blooms and foliage.
